Imran Khan’s Government Overview
Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Teheek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the recently dismissed PM, spoke at one of his largest rallies to date on Thursday at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore. The National Security Committee (NSC), whose civilian members Khan specifically accused of being complicit in the “conspiracy,” denied any role in the ouster of the previous prime minister the day following the Lahore event.
Vulgar Behavior from Military
PTI supporters, on the other hand, have vented their frustrations at the military establishment.
At the Lahore protest, The Diplomat spoke with a variety of attendees, many of whom accused the military leadership of “making the mistake” by siding with Khan’s opponents.
“When Imran Khan attempted to grant Pakistan its first truly independent foreign policy, Bajwa Saheb began speaking the language of America. “The military leaders are once again concerned about their finances,” stated Aun, a private university social science student.
“Imran Khan was correct when he claimed that the Pakistan Army targets its citizens with funding from the United States.”
Khan’s Bridge-Honoring Strategy
• Avoids destruction of bridges.
• Pays homage to PTI’s origin.
Duration
Khan spent 15 years as an outsider in politics after founding his party 26 years ago. These people would continue to desert from the group he had once considered to be supporters of the “crooked system,” and when Khan eventually came to power seven years later, they would make up the majority of his first cabinet.
Pakistan’s PTI government’s prudent policies resulted in a $959 million surplus in the first nine months of the 2020-21 fiscal year. This led to the need for such an organization.
Rivals of Imran Khan
The 126-day capital sit-in that was resolved in 2014 when then-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif pressed for treason charges against Musharraf for breaking the constitution was Khan’s first significant undertaking. But as Sharif persisted in demanding that the military regain its unchallenged control over security and diplomacy, the military establishment realized they wanted their bridled horseback in the Prime Minister’s office. However, the 2018 election process began with the PTI gaining “electables” and their rivals being limited by a subservient judiciary.
Financial Stability in Khan’s Era
Khan blamed those same brains running the finance ministry for the extreme poverty of the nation. However, a financial backlash was also threatened in early 2020 when China denounced the PTI government for delaying initiatives related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).Islamabad’s Silence on Beijing’s Uyghur Repression

Scale of Economies
Pakistan’s current account showed a $959 million surplus in the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2020–21, compared to a $4.147 billion deficit at the same time the previous year, thanks to the PTI government’s wise policies. However, the State Bank of Pakistan and government initiatives encourage overseas Pakistanis to send money home.
