ISLAMABAD: Imran khan’s Performances Highlights
While proudly presenting the “achievements” of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf-led coalition government over the past three years, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday vowed to help the country stand on its feet with dignity through progress and self-sustainment.
In an hour-long speech at the launch of the three-year performance report of his government, the prime minister said that on assumption of power in August 2018, the PTI faced numerous ‘inherited challenges’ including financial instability, poverty, and inadequate education and health facilities. But currently there were several feathers in the cap of his government, particularly tackling the challenge of COVID-19 through its’smart lockdown strategy’, he said, adding that Pakistan had been recently ranked by The Economist as the ‘third-best performing country’ for handling the pandemic.

Sector of the economy:
Pakistan’s first stent production facility, launch of the country’s first green bond, people-friendly budget, upward economic trajectory, Roshan Digital Account, Roshan Apni Car, and Roshan Samaji Khidmat, Electric Vehicle Policy, MG Motors launch, structural reforms, decrease in current account deficit, growth in the textile industry, increase in exports, high remittances, as well as a low tariff for electricity and gas for industrial consumption.
Foreign policy:
the Afghanistan peace process, the Palestine cause, the Kashmir cause, and refuting Indian propaganda.
The study also highlighted a number of other projects, such as the GIS mapping system, Clean and Green Pakistan, the deployment of electronic voting machines, voting rights for foreign nationals, accountability in the civil service, and reforms.
Praises the military:
In his speech, Prime Minister Khan praised the Army and Air Force for their strong response to India following the Pulwama atrocity. “We warned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi of dire consequences in case of any misadventure because of our forces,” he continued.
Imran Khan stated that Islamabad would not join any other country’s war, but he also declared that the nation would not permit the murder of its own citizens, as had occurred in the US-Taliban conflict following the 9/11 attacks.
Imran Khan claimed that although the army, the courts, and politicians had all made “mistakes” in the past, a particular group of people and foreign actors were holding the Pakistan Army responsible for the current state of affairs in Afghanistan.
